Itna Sa Bed Gnar

Although I started writing this few months back, couldn’t complete it till now..So here goes.
------------
Mind blowing, Awesome, what an impact!!!
What am I talking about – some beauty queen. A big “NO”.
This was oh..sorry is the effect I am feeling after seeing the movie “Rang De Basanti”.
What this movie didn’t have:
A movie without a love story as the plot and no importance to any Hero and Heroine. No smugglers, no policewala vs gunda fight scenes, no swiss background songs!
But without all these Yash Chopra masala the movie makes it marks as best in recent years better than the combined chopra or johar movies.
There are so many good parts in this movie which all viewers know and not going to waste this space with some insignificant comments. Good part was Aamir didn’t allow himself to be the only star and gave space to all others and I found Sidharth doing his part quite awesome as I didn’t find anything special in his tamil movies BOYS and “Ayitha ezhithu”(tamil original of “Yuva” and counterpart role of Vivek Oberoi). Similar with the other characters and direction by Mehra was better than his previous AKS.
What I didn’t agree with the plot was Mig-21 parts being low quality. The knowledge people in Defence know that the frequent crashes are not because of any faulty parts but mostly because of Mig-21 being a difficult aircraft to control. Piloting a Mig-21 is a different ball game and even a pilot with good experience is Mirage or Jaguar doesn’t qualify the pilot to be good at Mig-21. But that’s anyway a movie plot and common janta as it reads newspapers with 64 crashes can always relate to it and that’s how a good movie became a hit this time although whole truth is not the core of this movie. But whatever the plot it leads only to one conclusion that a politician in power is the villain and which is a blatant truth.
Whatever, I consider this movie to be the best in recent times and should inspire some of the youth to think about greater cause. Politics is not dirty and there is no way we can avoid Politics. It is the politicians without any principles that cause the bottlenecks in the path of progress.
Oh Ok, I forgot about the title “Itna sa bed Gnar”. Just a got some junk mail that said that Film crew didn’t know what to name the film and some situations got them to this name and finally Mehra was upset with such a name and somebody suggested to reverse this sentence to get the final name. LOL.

I read about it in Hindu and also through our monthly gazette!
The word was reversed by the foriegn actor in the movie, amir went to his tent and found that the bed was small for his huge body and uttered these words in surprise! Since these were the words uttered first they had to name the movie with it !
Then "Gnar" reversed it and we got rang de basanti!
